Things You’ll Need
- Green bell peppers
- Sharp knife
- Large, heavy skillet
- Olive oil
Step 1 – Cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise. Remove the stems, seeds and white pulp found in the center of the pepper.
Step 2 – Rinse the peppers under cold, running water. Cut the pepper halves into 1/4-inch strips.
Step 3-Coat the bottom of a large skillet with olive oil, and heat over medium-high heat.
Step 4 – Add the peppers to the pan when the oil begins to shimmer, and allow them to cook, stirring frequently, until the skins begin to brown slightly and the peppers become limp, roughly 15 minutes.
