Alright Italian Beef Fans, there is lots going on in the ItalianBeef.com world, we recently got the entire site completed, the Italian Beef database, All New Recipes, Video’s and Photo Gallery, up and running smoothly after a crazy holiday season, so please go check it out, add, rate and/or review your favorite place.
As well Jimmie The Beef Guy has been hard at work responding to comments and questions by fans, as well as we have started visiting several places to do on location video’s highlighting beef stands recommended by you the fans. Jimmie’s first stop was Al’s #1 Italian Beef on Adams down in the Loop, where Jimmie and the whole ItalianBeef.com crew met with Michael Stadnicki and Chris Pacelli and the whole Adams street crew to tour the place, talk to some customers and eat a couple of Italian Beef’s. If you haven’t been to Al’s on Adams, you are missing out, their beefs are absolutely solid, well prepared and the beef is made on site. The building has its own bit of history as the now ground floor is the second floor of the original building. They’ve got all the memorabilia on the walls, the pic of Chris “doin the Stance” etc.. If you are in the loop, this is a must see spot, go in, ask for Mike and grab a hot wet Beef!!! We’d also like to say thanks to Michael the owner for having us down, showing us around and letting us make our first video! Thanks Mike! Like I mentioned, Jimmie the Beef Guy has been busy, he’s been all around ChicagoLand meeting with some of the originals and old schoolers in the Italian Beef business. Here are some pics from stops along his way over the past few weeks.
